Its nightlife is renowned for its electrifying energy, breathtaking locations, and unparalleled uniqueness. In our compilation of the finest clubs in Ibiza, we’ve given top priority to the elements that define a great club: world-class music, an electric atmosphere, and unparalleled service. Brace yourself for the ultimate Ibiza nightlife experience.

Established in 1976, Amnesia Ibiza stands as one of the original super clubs on the island. Back in those early days, the San Rafael finca served as a second home for a colorful mix of hippies, bohemians, and hedonists who had flocked to Ibiza in pursuit of good times. It provided both the space and the soundtrack for a newfound sense of freedom to blossom. The music played at Amnesia was always thrilling and eclectic, helping lay the groundwork for one of Ibiza’s most significant exports, Alfredo. He became a regular at the club in the early 1980s and played a pivotal role in birthing the Balearic Beat movement.

Amnesia Ibiza is celebrated for its seamless transitions between genres, spanning from disco to house, and from pop to rock. Alfredo’s influence and the club’s pioneering approach to music contributed to the development of a distinctive Ibiza sound, securing its place in the annals of history. However, Amnesia is not solely renowned for its musical heritage. The club’s open-air terrace (before local authorities insisted on adding a glass roof) was the epicenter of wild parties that could last for days, etching themselves into the folklore of both locals and an international crowd.

To this day, Amnesia boasts one of the most iconic dance floors on the island. If you find yourself at this Ibiza club at 6 am during one of its opening or closing parties, with the morning sun streaming in from above and your sunglasses perched on your nose, then you’ve truly experienced the essence of Ibiza. Adjacent to the open-air terrace, the cavernous Main Room is perfect for nights filled with deep, immersive techno, making it equally beloved by clubgoers. You can effortlessly move between these two distinct spaces for the ultimate Amnesia Ibiza adventure. The crowd at this Ibiza club is as diverse as its lineups, so feel free to dress comfortably and prepare for a memorable journey.

As the hottest, must-visit destination in this season’s Ibiza club scene, Club Chinois is poised to captivate and enchant at every twist and turn. This venue, previously known as HEART Ibiza, has undergone a comprehensive transformation, masterfully executed by the award-winning Parisian design studio, Laleh Assefi. Prepare to be immersed in opulence with rich textiles, ornate golden columns, intricate wall art, and sleek granite floors, all of which pay homage to the fascinating fusion of Eastern and Western cultures. In a nod to Ibiza’s storied clubbing history, the carefully curated ambiance exudes vitality and dynamism, promising a multitude of sensory delights at every corner. Club Chinois is poised to offer an unparalleled nightlife experience, fully immersive and unforgettable.

Partygoers can anticipate nightly, jaw-dropping performances that run the gamut from breath-taking acrobatics and live musical acts to acclaimed Ibiza club DJs and surprise appearances by superstar talents. With every inch of the club meticulously designed to serve as a stage, you can expect an up-close and personal encounter with a gifted ensemble whose artistry will linger in your memory long after you’ve departed the club.

As the name suggests, this club actually hosts its nights in and around a natural cave. A venue like no other, Cova Santa was bought by the Amnesia group in 2001, specifically to turn it into a clubbing venue.

Cova Santa, an open-air venue, is perched on a hill just outside of San José. Throughout the late afternoon to early evening this stunning terraced daytime club transforms into a captivating space that welcomes performances, music, and art in a truly magical setting.

Featuring colorful carpets, twinkling lights, and bohemian furnishings, Cova Santa is a versatile space that includes garden terraces, a gastronomic restaurant offering Michelin-quality cuisine and cocktails, and a compact yet intimate nightclub that plays host to some of the island’s most avant-garde events and promotions. It’s a place where creativity and entertainment come together in a unique and enchanting way.

Home of underground music, DC-10 attracts revellers who love hard beats and like to have fun. There are two dance floors and a terrace, and the club operates a relaxed dress code allowing you to feel comfortable as you become entranced by the music. What really sets DC-10 apart from its club competitors, though, is that admission fees have always remained fairly low – and we’re not just saying that! DC-10 is a fantastic deal.

The club started off life in an old hangar located at the end of the airport – perfect if you are just flying in for a few hours of dancing! It has seen a bit of a revamp since it first opened back in 1999, but the ethos remains the same: no-hold- barred fun!

The club also offers a route for up-and-coming, undiscovered DJ talent as well as bringing some of the biggest names to the turntables. DC-10 is frequented by some of the top DJing talent in the world: The Martinez Brothers, Apollonia and Seth Troxler to name a few. Regular nights abound: Circoloco is the name given to the famous Monday sessions that have long been popular with clubbers looking for underground techno pleasure.

Destino Ibiza epitomises luxury and opulence in the realm of beach resorts on the island and proudly stands as the newest addition to the lavish Pacha Ibiza portfolio. This chic resort has garnered immense popularity among Ibiza’s elite and has become the top choice for special events, parties, and celebrations.

Perched atop a cliff in the exclusive Cap Martinet area, just a short distance from the far end of Talamanca, this stunning resort offers breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea, with vistas extending to Formentera. It’s only a brief drive from Ibiza town, making it exceptionally convenient.

Given the resort’s rich musical heritage, it’s no surprise that the Destino brand has some fantastic party plans up its stylish sleeves. Guests can dance around the sparkling swimming pool at the heart of the venue, surrounded by swaying palm trees, day beds, and a luxurious king-size Jacuzzi. The open-air stage boasts a powerful sound system that keeps the dance floor alive from day to night. Once the clock strikes midnight, the action continues inside the dark and alluring Tox Prive Club.

Destino places a strong emphasis on quality over quantity, featuring special appearances by renowned DJs such as Luciano and Solomun, unique pool parties like Flower Power, and Guy Gerber’s celebrated Rumors parties, which offer free entry to island residents. In essence, Destino takes the core philosophy of Pacha and infuses it with a glamorous outdoor twist that promises to captivate anyone fortunate enough to experience it.

Situated in the heart of San Antonio, directly facing the expansive stretch of shoreline known as S’Arenal, Eden Ibiza stands as one of the town’s renowned super clubs. Since its inception in 1999, this Ibiza club has been a hotbed of temptation and has hosted several iconic parties on the White Isle, including memorable events like Judgement and God’s Kitchen during their heyday. In 2013, the venue underwent a comprehensive top-to-bottom refurbishment, and this year, it’s undergone another transformation with the DJ booth being lowered to create a more immersive dance floor. As a result, its swanky interiors now rival any other club on the island.

Eden Ibiza enjoys popularity among discerning clubbers and a typically youthful British crowd who spend their summers selling tickets along the famous sunset strip. What sets this club apart is its exceptional sound system, equipped with top-of-the-line VOID technology. The meticulous attention to sonic detail is undeniably impressive, and over the years, it has contributed to a positive evolution in the concept of clubbing on the west coast of the island.

Leading this transformation is “Defected In The House,” a party that revolves around pure, unadulterated house music and an all-inclusive ethos of “anyone is welcome.” Spearheaded by Defected label head, Simon Dunmore, who was recently honored at the IMS Ibiza Legends Dinner, this event consistently features industry heroes such as Basement Jaxx, Eats Everything, Gorgon City, and Todd Terry. Leveraging the Ibiza club’s straightforward yet impactful layout, this is the event to target if you’re seeking the ultimate Eden Ibiza experience.

Situated on the revered grounds of Playa d’en Bossa in Ibiza, Hï Ibiza wasted no time in setting forth on a groundbreaking journey in the world of clubbing, firmly establishing itself as a contender for the title of the ‘best club in the world.’ Proudly positioned on the vibrant Playa d’en Bossa main strip, it stands opposite its energy-charged sibling venue, Ushuaïa Ibiza. Much like Ushuaïa is the yang to Ushuaïa’s daytime yin, Hï Ibiza is a vivacious and vibrant venue that has earned the esteemed distinction of being named the world’s best club in DJ Mag’s poll – not once, but twice! This transformation of the iconic Ibiza club, which now occupies the former Space Ibiza premises, showcases a forward-thinking approach rather than dwelling on the past for inspiration. Enthusiastic partygoers have reaped the rewards of this approach ever since.

Hï Ibiza is a multifaceted space, replete with special VIP areas and extensive outdoor areas for those essential dance breaks. It stands as a stylish and sophisticated Ibiza club where sound and technology take center stage. The club features two primary spaces: the Theatre, designed for grand-scale production spectacles, and the Club Room, tailored for a more stripped-down, music-focused clubbing experience. What sets it apart is that the setup changes with every party, ensuring that no two nights of the week are ever the same. In a pioneering move for Ibiza clubbing, there’s also the Wild Corner, a DJ booth located in the club’s unisex restrooms, where revelry and excitement abound.

Hï Ibiza enthusiastically embraces VIP culture, drawing a diverse crowd of trendy young individuals and high-end club enthusiasts. This Ibiza club offers a plethora of experiences to entertain every type of clubbing aficionado. A top tip for visitors is to keep an eye out for the joint opening and closing parties held in collaboration with Ushuaïa Ibiza each summer, featuring 24-hour musical marathons that capture the exuberantly hedonistic spirit on which Ibiza built its reputation for unforgettable parties.

Both a glamorous seafront restaurant and cabaret club, Lío is a staple on the island’s thriving VIP nightlife scene. Situated within the exclusive Marina Botafoch, the venue is famous for its excellent gastronomy, impressive live shows and high-octane club nights.

With breath-taking views of Ibiza port and Dalt Vila, a beautifully decorated interior plus a cosmopolitan jet-set vibe, Lío Ibiza has fast become the go-to night-time destination for those who desire an impeccable dining experience, dazzling entertainment and the option to party until late.

Your experience at Lío Ibiza begins with world-class cuisine and signature cocktails accompanied by sultry, singing burlesque dancers performing world-class cabaret shows – right at the end of your table. In other words, each dining experience at Lío is extraordinarily unique.

A perfect choice for a stylish, fun Ibiza experience on any night of the week, Lío Ibiza also attracts music lovers from far and wide: you can enjoy the best in house music and shake it until dawn as million-dollar yachts float opposite in the sea under the starry skies of Ibiza’s glorious waterfront.

Pacha, often hailed as the mother of superclubs, made history by opening its doors in 1973, pioneering the nightclub scene in Ibiza. It has since become one of the largest and most renowned clubs, not just in Ibiza but around the world, with franchises spanning Spain, the United States, Brazil, England, Germany, and several other countries. Remarkably, the very first Pacha nightclub emerged in Sitges back in 1967, meaning these party maestros have been hosting top-notch events for over half a century.

The iconic cherry logo is synonymous worldwide with an exceptional party venue. Music enthusiasts flock to Pacha to partake in a diverse range of events, including the Flower Power Party on Mondays, which pays homage to the island’s hippy heritage, bringing a dose of love and peace to kick off the week. This is followed by Camelphat every Tuesday, Bedouin Wednesdays, Pure Pacha on Thursdays, Marco Carola’s Music On on Fridays, Claptone’s Masquerade on Saturdays, and Solomun’s +1 on Sundays.

Pacha boasts five distinct music areas to explore, each with its own unique vibe and a maze of secret corridors. While the Main Room is where the heart of the party beats, you can also retreat to the Roof Terrace for a more laid-back atmosphere, relax on the couches, and savor some delightful cocktails while gazing up at the night sky. Pacha is an intricate labyrinth of experiences, so don’t be surprised if you find yourself momentarily lost during your first visit – it’s all the more reason to return for another unforgettable night.

One of the powerhouses of the clubbing scene, Privilege is the largest club in the world. It started off way back in 1978, when it was known as Club San Rafael; it changed its name to Ku Club in the 80s and then finally over to Privilege in 1995. With a capacity of 10,000, Privilege is the place for you if you like to be surrounded by lots of people when you party.

There are fourteen bars around the club and two VIP zones, because one obviously couldn’t be enough! Other areas include open-air chill out zones for when you need to cool down for a bit – and if you are still there at sunrise then you can head to Vista Club, which is a room with glass windows from floor to ceiling, affording unbelievable views of the sky at sunrise.

Famous artists have performed at the venue throughout the decades, including Freddie Mercury, Duran Duran and Spandau Ballet in their prime. Over the years, the club has continued to attract the big names from the music industry, both as guests and as performers. The place still has it, too: the best party of 2018 had to be Privilege’s Resistance, with Sasha, John Digweed and infamous Carl Cox. Simply put, the club’s parties are legendary, with an atmosphere that you will remember for a long time.

Underground isn’t considered a ‘superclub’, but it offers something different for those hedonists who like to avoid the more commercial and crowded clubs. The location isn’t too far from the busy streets where you will find local clubs Amnesia and Privilege – but if, well, underground vibes are your thing then you will not be disappointed.

You might not see much promotional material for this venue … and that is just how the owners like it. Those who are ‘in the know’ can experience one of the more intimate clubbing experiences on the island at Underground.

Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel revolutionised the open-air clubbing scene in Ibiza from the moment its extravagant gates swung open. It has since established itself as the unrivaled epicenter of outdoor fun and entertainment on the island, drawing partygoers from around the globe. As one of the defining beach clubs in Ibiza’s history, and arguably in the world, this venue set the standard for daytime revelry on the White Isle when it made its debut in 2011. Since then, it has continued to lead the way both musically and in creating a unique atmosphere. Every event hosted here feels like a festival, only it happens every single day of the week, making it an alfresco clubbing experience that no visitor to Ibiza should miss.

Situated in Playa d’en Bossa, the central hub of Ibiza’s clubbing scene, Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Club enjoys a distinctive beachfront location. It offers not only luxurious accommodation but also multiple restaurants for relaxation and dining. And, of course, it boasts one of the most renowned dance floors on the island. Most of the parties unfold in front of the venue’s impressive outdoor stage, between the hours of 5 pm and 11 pm. Each event is known for its mind-blowing production, featuring lasers, fire machines, acrobatics, and an array of other gadgets and gimmicks designed to captivate clubbers.

The club also features a picturesque swimming pool for dancing, and, naturally, a dedicated VIP area. Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Club was among the pioneers in offering exclusive access for VIPs, where champagne flows freely once you cross the velvet rope. We recommend arriving early, as while the party atmosphere really kicks in after sunset, this is one of the few places on the island where you can witness renowned international DJs performing during the daytime—a unique Ibiza clubbing experience that everyone should partake in.
